Don’t miss one of the best events of the year and one of the many things that make Chesapeake so special!
The 42nd annual Chesapeake Rotary Christmas Parade will take place on Dec. 6 at 6 p.m.
Neighbors told News 3 reporter Erin Holly that it’s a long-standing tradition to set out chairs weeks in advance to reserve spots for the parade.
"That says everything about it. The Chesapeake Christmas Parade is a community," said Buzz Hartmann, a Chesapeake neighbor who has played Santa in the parade for the past 13 years.
