HEY FRIENDS I'M PUTTING ON MY FIRST EVER EVENT NEXT MONTH!!!! 🎉🎉🎉

This is extremely special and important for me for international overdose awareness day. Project Phoenix which is who puts on the recovery meetings I go to on Monday nights is helping me host this at Cooper's Restaurant which is where our meetings are held. I'm doing this in honor of my best friend John Jones that passed from an overdose 10 years ago come September.
We will have lots of vendors all dealing with drug awareness, rehabs, sober living, harm reduction, etc. There will be a panel of speakers facilitated by Mike FO. TONS of free narcan and harm reduction supplies from multiple vendors as well as free food

I've been working on this for months and hoping for a great turn out.
If anymore rehabs, sober living, or methadone clinics would like to set up please reach out to me!!

And on that note this is a free narcan/harm reduction vending machine. It also has feminine products and some other toiletries. They have 3 locations throughout Richmond. This is absolutely incredible and SOOOO needed and helpful!!! Someone help me get something like this in Hampton Roads!!!!! 💜💜💜

Good morning and happy Sunday funday!! I just picked up our new friend in Newport News and on the way for him to start his new life and sober journey!! Thank you everyone that helped out with this!! We got him some clothes, toiletries, and a new pair of shoes. Just gotta stop and get him a duffel bag and some breakfast. Got the trunk loaded up with supplies as well and my cooler with drinks and snacks to hopefully find some people around Richmond to help. I've been wanting to make a trip up here cause their houseless population is so much bigger than ours and a much worse problem with drugs 🥹
Trying to go find their narcan vending machines they have there to get some ideas for home!!
If anyone knows of any nonprofits up here that deal with homelessness or substance use that might be open on a Sunday drop the names in the comments. I'd love to make connections up here too!!

🚨🚨SINGLE MOM IN NEED OF SOME CLEANING HELP PLEASE!!!🚨🚨

Happy Friday friends!! I have a pretty sensitive situation I need some help with!!! One of my childhood best friends, her best friend is struggling with a lot right now just needing a hand up. Her husband passed away about a year ago leaving her with her 6 year old autistic son. She also has lupus which makes it extremely hard for her to do much physical work or move around. All of that has caused serious depression to the point where her house is needing some MAJOR cleaning. It's to the point where she could loose the house if it doesn't get cleaned up as well as her son with his autism doesn't want to go in the house and they're currently staying at a hotel. It's about 1,000 square feet single story house with 3 bedrooms in Norfolk. Is there any cleaning companies or just individuals with a heart that could come and help my friend and this mom start to get her house cleaned up? Even if 1 person could help for a couple hours and another person another day for a couple hours. Any help at all would be EXTREMELY appreciated!!!! 🙏🩷

I don't care how many times someone relapses or goes to detox or rehab I will ALWAYS be there for someone every single time they slip up. You need to go to detox for the 5th time? Ok lets go, no judgement!!! Unfortunately relapse is a part of most peoples recovery and it happens. It's ok to get up and try again!!!
I will always be here for someone every step of the way no matter how many times they need to start over 💜💜💜

🚨🚨EMERGENCY REHAB HELP!!!🚨🚨

Hey friends I need some help getting a guy to rehab!! I met a guy at the peninsula rescue mission shelter in Newport News on Sunday and he told me about how he was struggling with alcohol. I told him I helped get people into rehab and his eyes immediately lit up and said he wanted to go to rehab so bad but wasn't from VA and had just applied for medicade so couldn't find any rehab to take him yet. Well he called me later that night and I got him in contact with a free long term rehab in Richmond and he's all signed up to go and doing intake on Sunday!!! 🙏🎉
Since he doesn't have insurance they don't provide transportation so I'm driving him up there Sunday morning to start his new journey and life over. I just need about $30 for gas and a little extra to get him something to eat, toiletries without alcohol, and a few clothes. Is anyone able to help out?
It would mean so much to help this sweet man get on the right track.

Well today was another successful day!!! 🩷
My boyfriend helped me this time and we went all around Hampton and Newport News today.
Refilled the van with more supplies like bug spray, sun screen, wipes, cooling towels, underwear, clothes, toiletries, shoes, snacks, and just about got completely wiped out.
Thank you again to Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers for the ice again and to the 3 incredible people that made sandwiches and donated snacks, fruits, and drinks. Had some more watermelon we cut up from Full Plate Project
We were able to help out at four oaks day center, peninsula rescue mission shelter, and multiple random people we found all over panhandling, in tents, and sleeping on sidewalks 🥹
The best part of my day we found the sweetest old man sitting on a walker that we helped out. I mentioned watermelon and he said his hands were messed up but that he would do cartwheels for some watermelon 😂
Then I mentioned I had a water gun and his eyes lit up and he asked my boyfriend to take his phone and record me spraying him. He said no one would believe that happened. Ahaha.
It was a hot one, but such a great day and made lots of new friends. Even had one guy ask about going to rehab which I told him I would absolutely help and he even called me about 2 hours later asking how soon he could get in so I know he's serious about it 🙏
This weekend was perfect (other than the heat) and made me feel so good being able to go out all 3 days. Thank you again to everyone that donated in any type of way. I could NOT do this without this amazing community. I love you guys 💞

I got a water gun today and it was SOOOO much fun. These grown men that act all hard and tough got so excited like little kids again 🥹 (and I loved spraying them)
Started out this morning taking one of our friend's that's been in between hotels and couches a cheesecake for her birthday yesterday and breakfast for her and her boyfriend. Then I got 4th of July cupcakes and cookies (which I completely forgot to take pictures of) and went with the 4th of July deal at Rally's for our friends which was a hamburger and apple pie for $2.50. Definitely a great start to the day.
