Happy July! I'm pretty stoked about it. June ended with a bang - I celebrated my birthday and reflected on the past year. It made me think of a speech I gave on Mirror Confidence. It's tough to be honest with ourselves, but we can't escape our own reflections.

As we hit the second half of the year, take a hard look in the mirror. If you don't like what you see, change it. Don't like how you respond to things? Change it. Not taking care of yourself? Change it. Lost your smile? Change it. You are beautiful, so start living like it!

Change starts with us. Let's make the most of this life!

Decided to take a little nature walk after work today. It’s just too freaking beautiful outside not to enjoy the sun kiss from above.

Nature is my happy place

Today, Olivia and I ventured out to a new bookstore for some mommy-daughter time. in Hampton was the store of choice. The owner was super friendly, and I loved her wit and humor. I can’t wait to visit again on Tuesday to up my Frieda McFadden hold that comes out.

It has been a couple weeks since I ventured to Manhattan to see a one woman stage play. At first, I had no clue what I was in for. I had never seen a one woman show. Forgive Me Grandma, For I Have Sinned performed by , was energetic, inspiring, emotional and riveting.

My take away, sell your house. The simple phrase doesn’t mean to physically sell your house although Stephanie did indeed sell her house. Selling your house transferred to me as a phrase meaning letting go of perfectionism, self doubt, control of things you can’t control or any relationship, partnership, job, or situation that will leave you depleted and stagnant in life.

My journey this year has been interesting and there were times I had to sell my house. Growth and change is inevitable if you want to do better, be better, and live better. I’m embracing my growth so I have some more real estate to sell so I can continue to move toward the best prime real estate….ME!
