Ronald Lee "Ron" Hudgins
August 17, 1943 - July 30, 2021
CHESAPEAKE – Ronald “Ron” Lee Hudgins, 77, died July 30, 2021. Ron was born in Norfolk to the late Batey and Frances Ewell Hudgins. He spent his career working as a Master Electrician for Raytheon Services Company and WR Systems. Ron was an avid fisherman and gardener, but above all, enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Brian E. Hudgins; sister, Dorothy Smith; and brothers, Batey W. Hudgins, Jr. and Wayne Hudgins.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Sherry A. Hudgins; daughter, Deanne L. Padgett (Johnny) of Chesapeake; daughter-in-law, Audra D. Hudgins of Moyock; grandchildren, Tyler S. Hudgins of Chesapeake, Ryan L. Padgett of Marietta, GA, and Megan L. Padgett Fondse of Virginia Beach; sisters, Janey Eason of Elkton, MD and Carolyn McCloud (George) of FL; and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Express condolences to the family below.

The BBQ Shack will be Closed Saturday June 19 thru June 30th. BBQ Shack will Return back July 1st. 🤗
