It is definitely chilly this morning here in VB! ❄️ Totally wishing I was curled up on the couch with the pups & a cozy cup of coffee instead of a to-go cup & rolling chair in the office, but oh well! ⠀

I have about 97% of all my Christmas shopping done (thanks ) & spent all last night wrapping while watching a cheesy hallmark movie. Cliche I know but it’s fine 😂 ⠀

The little guy pictured here, is a mug I hand-built about a year ago. It’s perfect for cozy winter mornings 😊 Beautiful & functional pieces don’t have to only be done on a wheel so I definitely encourage those of you who don’t have a wheel (or do) to try hand-building! There’s absolutely no limit to what you can create!⠀

On that note, my next mug batch should be out of the kiln today or tomorrow so stay tuned! I’m so excited to see how they all turn out!

I just love the pale pink color this claybody turns after going through bisque firing! ⠀

I’m still amazed by the extensive transformation a ball of wet mud goes through before becoming a functional piece in somebody’s cabinet! ⠀
