"I have learned that Kingdom churches exist not only to serve believers, but also to care for the people and communities around them. Issues such as drunkenness, prostitution, and drug abuse are not just societal problems—they are also our responsibility. These challenges present opportunities for us to bring transformation and development within our communities.
I have also learned the importance of building meaningful relationships with community members, including those who hold influence and resources. Through these connections, we can work together to bring lasting change.
As pastors, we have not always given much attention to business. However, I now understand the importance of starting, planning, and growing sustainable businesses. With the knowledge I have gained, I am committed to improving my primary school—planning more effectively, creating a clear budget, and using it as a platform to impact the community.
I believe this will enable me to add greater value to both my church and the community we serve."
God is at work—through this testimony from our Metachurch Leader in Uganda, John Hakuza. The journey doesn’t end here—this is just the beginning of greater impact ahead.

" I am deeply grateful for the excellent training we have received. Through this experience, I have learned that as a Kingdom church, we are called to care for our communities, recognising that many people within them may not yet be believers. Nevertheless, we are called to love, serve, and support them unconditionally.
We have also come to understand that the church is God’s business. This has opened our eyes to the importance of starting our own businesses—ones that not only sustain us financially but also positively impact the church and meet the needs within our communities.
Through the profits from these businesses, we aim to give back by equipping people with skills and by reaching out to those in prisons and hospitals. We have learned that business is not about selfish gain, but about enabling us to live generously. It allows us not only to share the Gospel but also to demonstrate it through tangible acts of love and provision."
An inspiring testimony from our Metachurch Leader in Uganda, Joan Harriet Kisakye.
