Last week our firefighters got the opportunity to train on our new ground monitor. It is a specialized nozzle system designed to deliver high volumes of water or foam from a fixed position on the ground. It is primarily used to provide massive suppression power while maintaining safety by allowing operation from a distance. To assist in its operation, a Keli coil is used to help in controlling the unit. It can also be used with a nozzle as you can see.
