We just finished up a full audio upgrade on this brand new Lamborghini Urus! This really was a fun build utilizing our ability to make some custom a pillar pods for it by 3d scanning the a pillars and 3d printing our own speaker pods to give this vehicle an amazing sound stage from our blam tweeters and midranges. We then laser cut our own grills for the pods which replicated the oem speaker grill design and added some white to them to match the rest of the white leather interior accents. We matched our upholstery to the oem suede like material to make the pillars look like they came this way.
The doors housed the Helix i7 8” midbass drivers with the 3d printed flex plates to perfectly match the original speaker mounts. We used SoundShield sound deadening in our doors as well as the contour rings to seal the speakers front wave to only escape through oem grill.
For our amps and sub, our customer wanted a completely stealth setup leaving him full trunk space. We mounted our amps, Helix V8, and Helix M One X, as well as the subwoofer enclosure all inside the spare tire floor area. This vehicle does not come with a spare tire so we had plenty of space. We also built a simple but functional rack to hold the tire sealant and air pump incase of emergency. The Helix Conductor was also mounted in the oem carbon fiber climate control bezel which gives full control of volume, subwoofer, rear fill surround, and audio presets.
The subwooer we used is a Morel 10” Ultimo PowerSlim and is very impressive with its 5” voice coil and shallow chassis. All of our equipment was able to be bolted down to oem studs/threaded holes to keep everything solid in its place.
