Kylie was first diagnosed with stage 4 alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma in February 2022.

Following her diagnosis, Kylie received 30 weeks of frontline treatment and spent over 100 days in hospital.

She has bravely endured chemotherapy, radiation, PET scans, CT scans, NG tube insertions, blood tests, and countless pokes, prods, and procedures.

In November 2023, Kylie finished her initial treatment, and she was finally able to be a kid again.

Then, after 14 months off treatment, Kylie experienced a devastating relapse this January. 💔

Since her relapse, she has completed 9 cycles of VIT chemotherapy and is now receiving maintenance chemo through a clinical trial.

Thankfully, her scans have been clear since July. 🙌

Kids like Kylie should be living life, not fighting for it.

As I ride over these final days, let's keep these brave kids in our prayers...

Let's bring it home. ✊

Hey everyone, just a quick check‑in during the last week of my Great Cycle Challenge ride, and I wanted to share where things stand and how much your help still means. 💛🚴‍♂️

What’s going on now:
Miles ridden so far: 87 miles
Dollars donated so far: $1,358
My goal: ride 100 miles and raise at least $2,500

Why this matters:
The Great Cycle Challenge is all about fighting childhood cancer through the Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF). CCRF funds life‑saving research, especially for hard‑to‑treat childhood cancers.

They also support survivorship research, ensuring that children who complete treatment have the best chance of leading healthy lives afterward.

Every mile pedaled, every dollar raised helps researchers work toward safer, more effective treatments and ultimately toward cures. These are little lives, and these kids don’t get the luxury of waiting.
,
What we need from you in the final stretch:

I’m so close to the 100‑mile mark, just 13 miles to go. And to reach the fundraising goal, I need to raise about $1,142 more.

If you’re able to chip in, even a few dollars will move the needle.

Sharing this post or telling friends/family could also make the difference.

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who’s donated already, cheered me on, and encouraged me. Your support has gotten me this far. Let’s finish strong together. Let’s ride those last miles, surpass that fundraising goal, and help give kids the brighter futures they deserve. 💪🎗️

Let’s make these final miles count.

Meet Kane

In November 2023, Kane was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

He was given an urgent blood transfusion due to low blood counts. He then started chemotherapy treatment and spent 25 long days in hospital for his first admission.

Some days are much harder than others...

But Kane remains his happy self, always. In his mom's words, he's a "sweet little soul" who makes his parents incredibly proud every day.

This brave boy has endured intensive chemotherapy treatment and countless other pokes, prods, and procedures.

Thankfully, he is now cancer-free and will continue to receive treatment to ensure he stays that way.

Cancer is the largest killer of kids in the U.S. – on average, 38 kids die of cancer every week.

This is horrible. Kids should be living live, not fighting for it!

Cancer has taken too many lives and robbed too many kids of their childhood...

And frankly, cancer needs to be dealt with once and for all.

So I'm pedaling 100 miles this month to give cancer a good old-fashioned butt-kicking to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

My goal is to raise $2,500 through my challenge...

But I need your support.

Can you sponsor me to help me kick cancer's butt?
