Precept

Peter and John had just been arrested, threatened, and released by the same religious leaders who handed Jesus over to be crucified.

The first thing they did? They went back to their friends.

Mark the word friends in Acts 4:23. This isn’t casual company — it’s the community of believers, the early Church. These were people who shared the same Lord, the same hope, and now the same opposition.

Opposition didn’t scatter them. It drew them together.

When pressure comes, will they have boldness?

What if death doesn’t have the final word?

What if suffering isn’t the end of the story?

Jesus speaks directly into our deepest fears with this truth:
“I am the Resurrection and the Life.”
