There's a time to hesitate, and there's a time to just dive right in and take a bite. Hesitation is an interesting state of being. When you hesitate, you can keep from making a big mistake, there's time to get a good look at the situation and determine the next step to take. There is definitely wisdom in hesitation.

Other times, when you know, you know. If you've ever had cake, there is no question about what to do next. Take a bite! Psalm 34:8 says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him."

If you've been hesitant to believe in the one with an outstretched arm, or take that leap of faith, or simply take a taste of the goodness of God, let me encourage you to get a good look at what that outstretched arm of Jesus has to offer, and don't hesitate to taste and see, because the Lord is good!

Once you have tasted the goodness of God, there is no cause for hesitation when he offers you the whole cake! Especially if it's chocolate!
