Cinderella + Bluegrass was such a wonderful experience. Grateful to have shared it with an incredible group of brilliant women who made the night even more special. From the music to the storytelling, it was a beautiful blend of creativity, talent, and connection I won’t forget.

Tuesday, April 14:
Show Your Work kicks off with the Nursing and Allied Health Student Research Symposium in the HSC lobby from 9–11 a.m.

Thursday, April 16:
The multidisciplinary Student Research Symposium will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the library mobile classroom.

Thursday, April 16:
Honors Graduation Celebration at 6 p.m. in Branch 30, followed by an elegant hors d’oeuvres reception.

ChattState Honors Scholars graduating in Spring or Summer 2026 are warmly invited to a special Honors Celebration in recognition of your dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence.

You have done the hard work—now it is time to celebrate it. Bring your family, bring your friends, and bring your well-earned sense of pride. This is your moment, and we want you to share it with everyone who helped you get here.

There will be a plethora of gifts and graduation paraphernalia, along with heavy hors d’oeuvres and a few special celebratory surprises along the way.

Experience a fresh one-act take on the timeless story of Cinderella, followed by a world premiere ballet set to live bluegrass music by Randy Steele, performed onstage.

This unique performance blends classical dance with the rich sounds of Appalachian tradition for a night that is both innovative and rooted in storytelling.

Join us at the UTC Fine Arts Center for an evening where genres meet and something entirely new takes the stage.

Tuesday @ 2:00 in the Library!

The English Department’s Writers @ Work, the Honors College, and BLAC (Building Leaders Achieving Change) invite you to join our book club.

We are reading The Gleaming of the Blade by Chattanooga native, arts activist, and poet Christian Collier.

Each session will feature different poems, so feel free to attend one or both meetings. Free copies of the book will be available while supplies last.

Location: Library Mobile Classroom

Special Event:
Christian Collier will join us on April 8 from 2:30–3:30 PM in the library mobile classroom. This will be an opportunity to meet the poet, ask questions, and have your book signed.
