How is Mayor Berke’s shelter in place order different from Gov. Lee’s safer at home order?
Governor Lee’s “Safer at Home” order contains recommendations for Tennesseans to stay home. Mayor Berke’s “Shelter at Home” directs Chattanoogans to stay home.
Non-essential businesses, travel, public parks, and public spaces will be restricted until further notice.
The only activity allowed includes going to work at an essential business, getting groceries, and receiving medical attention.
