What an incredible experience it has been welcoming the Spanish National Team to Baylor! From the moment they arrived, our campus has had the privilege of hosting some of the very best in the world, and it is an experience our students, faculty, staff, and Chattanooga community will never forget!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. To our campus team, volunteers, and partners- thank you for your hard work, collaboration, and trust!

As Spain continues its World Cup journey, we are proud to have played a small part in the story. We wish the team nothing but the very best as they chase another championship!

The Abshire Fellowship Program offers a select group of Baylor seniors a unique opportunity to explore leadership, public service, and civic engagement in our nation’s capital!

Last week, these students spent five days in Washington, D.C., meeting with Baylor alumni and leaders across government, healthcare, business, national security, and public policy. From visits to CSIS, the Pentagon, Walter Reed, Capitol Hill, and the FDIC to conversations with professionals shaping decisions on a national and global scale, Fellows gained firsthand insight into leadership in action.

Created in honor of Dr. David Abshire ’44, the program challenges students to think critically about service, responsibility, and the impact they can have on the world around them!
