UTC Professor Dr. Marisa Colston has received the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions to athletic training education, professional leadership, and student mentorship.

Over more than two decades at UTC, Colston has helped shape future healthcare professionals while advancing the athletic training profession at the state, regional, and national levels.

Dr. Mohmad Junaid Ul Haq, a postdoctoral researcher in the UTC Quantum Center, earned second place at the CLEO Science Slam, an international competition that challenges researchers to explain complex scientific concepts in clear and engaging ways.

His presentation highlighted UTC's work in quantum networking and precision timing technologies, showcasing innovative research taking place right here in Chattanooga.
