For those calling me a DJ 🎨🎶🎧
But don’t go and think I was going to do a video here without trying to give you guys some tips.
In this particular video I was having a few problems with a few highlights that were too much, and the problem comes when you try to apply some contrast, because the brightest parts of the image are going even more to the top of your scopes, so… to fix that you can try 3 things: first try to balance the brightest parts of the image using your curves, isolate your Y channel and push a bit the top part to the bottom, but if that doesnt work… Second thing, try to use your hdr wheels, adjust the brightest parts using your highlight wheel and if its crushing, adjust the incidence range. To finish it up, this last one will require more time and a bit more knowledge but you can also try to qualify those super bright parts and carefully adjust its incidence, but be careful with these last 2, ok? Its really easy to crush your images and create artifacts, so be careful.
