Chee's Cakes

New adventure…mirror glaze cheesecake. Really fun.

I’ve been asked several times for my menu. I don’t have one. There are suggestions on my order form but my favorite cheesecake is the one I haven’t made yet.

There’s a method to my madness.

I like to be creative. When customers order from me I ask them, “what’s your favorite candy bar or pie or cookie”. Then I make a cheesecake around those flavors. Ninety nine percent of the time it works out great but if it doesn’t they get a half price cake or I remake it.

My cheesecakes are not meant to be on magazine covers or even in a display case. Sometimes they aren’t pretty or the crust falls off or the ganache doesn’t spread or the sauce is too runny. Its usually a culinary experiment. We, the cheesecakes and I, are a work in progress. But they are always custom, unique, personal and (from what I’m told) delicious.

I also make any sauce...fruit, chocolate, caramel, butterscotch, rum, bourbon etc. My cheesecakes come in two sizes serving 4-6 or 10-12.
