Ceramics has been there for me through life’s biggest lows, as clay has always helped me work my way through the muddy parts of life.

Life lately has been full of highs and universal nudges constantly telling me I’m on the exact path I’m meant to boogie down. Making art for my favorite artist
on my 2 year workaversary of my dream job and celebrating 150 days alcohol free feels like the highest of highs ✨

Here’s to two days of Billy magic at and the ripples of love we’ll be feeling long after today.

What an *insane* honor to see my work brought to life at among 400 guests, chefs, and foodies from across the globe 😶 My pieces have reached some pretty f’n cool places but this has left me speechless.

Thank you to my beautiful friend and incredibly talented chef for bringing MCC along. When food becomes art, it deserves a stunning canvas.

Howdy friends 🤠 It’s about time I did an artist intro ✨ My name is Kelcie! Here’s a little about the face behind the pots:

• I adopted 2 rescue pups at age 18 (Chimo & Charlie) who became my best friends and hiking buddies. Chimo lived to be almost 14 fookin’ years old and was an absolute legend - my old lady Charlie enjoys trucking along on our hikes and filling my house with grunts and farts

• I am happiest in nature. Which is why I believe pottery excites me so much. Not only do you get to tap into a creative voice but you’re making art from and *with* nature. Truly magical 🥹

• at age 10 I lost my father to depression and turned to several practices as healthy healing tools including therapy, nature, yoga, and 𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙮. My focus every day since that loss has been to live authentically and show love to myself and the world around me. I’m not perfect, but this experience gave me the gift of empathy for our fellow strangers and their own internal struggles. You never know how close to the edge someone is - and sometimes it’s the brightest and goofiest soul in the room. Show love and grace when you can

• I’m a loud and proud lgbtq member and supporter. I’m bi 🌈 and married to the love of my life and fellow nature enthusiast

• and lastly… I am an artist. Thanks to my mama who when faced with raising 3 kids on her own, chose to encourage us and support us in finding our own holistic healing paths (and enrolled me in my first pottery class) 🙃 I wouldn’t be a sliver of the woman I am today without her
