Earlier this week I was welcomed by Henry County Public Schools Superintendent Amy Blake-Lewis, board members Champ Hardie and Ben Gravely, and several other dedicated professionals and students at Magna Vista High School for a brief tour and discussion. We are pictured here in the facility’s impressive greenhouse where horticulture teacher Tiffany Wilson Anderson presented me with this beautiful poinsettia grown by her students.

I was very pleased to join them that day and want to encourage others to visit the horticulture program’s open house on December 9 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon to support this community asset and the students who learn there.

Today I wish to thank everyone who cast a vote for me in this year’s election. As always, I am honored and humbled to have your support.
