What does it mean to worship when life hurts?
This week in Acts 16, we look at Paul and Silas worshipping God from a prison cell after being beaten, humiliated, and chained up. They didn’t wait until life got easier to worship—they worshipped in the middle of the pain. And that’s when the chains fell.
In this message, Pastor Erik talks about how worship is so much more than music or singing songs on Sunday morning. Worship is surrender. It’s turning our hearts toward God even when life feels heavy.
Whether you’re carrying chains of anxiety, fear, shame, disappointment, addiction, or exhaustion, this sermon is an invitation to discover the freedom that can happen when we fully surrender ourselves to God.
Because worship is not a performance for God. It’s surrender that breaks chains.
