It’s our 5 year anniversary today and this native tallgrass prairie is perhaps the best physical example of dedication and teamwork in our marriage so far. There’s also probably a good metaphor for marriage in there… something about slow and steady work together that sometimes feels really hard but is usually quite enjoyable, and how you step back after multiple years and go “wow, look how far this has come!”
