One quick test can reveal why your sound feels “off” even when all your settings look right and nothing seems obviously wrong.

If highs aren’t coming through clearly, your students might sound loud—but not understandable.

Clear highs = clear speech.

This simple check can save you hours or years of frustration.

Save this so you can try it with your sound system 🎭

Body mic failures are often cable failures.
The weak spots are usually the plug and the earpiece.

Most wireless mic problems aren’t “random.”

If your receivers are hidden in a closet, behind a metal door, or inside a metal rack, they may not have a clear line of sight to the stage. That can lead to frustrating dropouts right in the middle of the show.

The fix is often simple:
Put your receivers where the antennas can “see” the performers.

Need to keep the receivers in a secure room? An antenna distribution system with remote antennas can bring the signal where it’s needed instead.

Small changes like this can make a huge difference in show reliability.

Follow for practical sound tips that help elementary music and theater teachers eliminate feedback, improve wireless performance, and build student tech teams that can confidently run the show.
