CGSK9 Services LLC is officially signing off to celebrate the 4th of July weekend with our families. As a reminder, our office is closed and we will not be returning any texts or messages until we get back on Monday.

Senior Spotlight: Gino’s Transformation! 🐾✨

Talk about a glow-up! This handsome fellow is Gino, a sweet senior who came in with a heavily compacted coat. Swipe to see his incredible before and after transformation! 👉💇‍♂️

Gino is practically family here at CGSK9. He first visited us years ago as a young pup for obedience training with Gabe. Since then, Gino and his brother Bo visit us several times a year for boarding and regular grooming.

We love watching our pack grow up and helping our senior friends stay comfortable, clean, and looking their absolute best!

🎇 JULY 4TH WEEKEND: FIREWORK SAFETY & REMINDERS 🎇

More dogs go missing on the 4th of July weekend than any other time of the year. The loud bangs, unexpected flashes, and high-pitched shrieks trigger a survival flight response in even the most stable dogs.

As we head into the holiday weekend, CGSK9 wants to make sure your pack stays safe, secure, and right where they belong.

🚨 Be Vigilant ALL Weekend Long
Do not assume your dog is only at risk on the night of July 4th. Neighbors and local crowds will be setting off fireworks before the actual holiday and well after it is over.

Never leave your dog unattended in the yard this weekend—even if you have a secure fence. Fear can cause a dog to dig under or clear a fence they’ve never tried to jump before.

Double-check your equipment. Ensure collars and harnesses are properly fitted so a panicked dog cannot back out of them during walks.

🔍 Check Your Microchips NOW
If the absolute worst happens and your dog slips away, their microchip is their ticket home.

Having a chip implanted is only half the battle—it is useless if your current phone number and address aren't attached to it.

Take 5 minutes today to log into your microchip registry database and verify that your contact information is 100% accurate and up to date.

📅 A Quick Note on Holiday Bookings
We filled up completely for this July 4th holiday weekend several weeks ago.

We always accept pre-books for major holidays, and spots fill incredibly fast. If you know you are traveling for upcoming holidays later this year, do not procrastinate. Plan ahead and secure your dog's run early so you aren't left scrambling at the last minute!
