The same custom home builder that left new houses unfinished in Statesville and Mooresville last year now owes a Denver, NC couple more than $1.6 million.
Matt Dewald and Tiff Hawks sued Nest Homes last year and won a default judgment against the company in recent months.
Records show they are among many who have filed lawsuits against Nest Homes and its linked companies.
An attorney for Nest and Helmsman Homes told us the companies have “ceased all business.”
