Final weekend recap in Charlotte

Ate at Dilworth Tasting Room in Plaza Midwood
Popped into Sip City for a bit

Well um I saw an apartment that has 3 holes of golf, picked up BBQ from Aldi and baked some salmon.

It was a glamorous day in Charlotte, NC

Stopped by Freedom Park yesterday and the dredging has started

Freedom Park pond is only 9 feet deep with the average depth being just under 5 feet

The pond hasn’t been dredged since 1947 and they keep getting blue green algae growth which is why they’re going to do it and there’s contaminated sediment throughout the pond that they want to remove

They are working Monday through Friday out there and part of the street is blocked and it’s unclear how long this will take but it sounds like it’s going to be impacted clear through summertime

You can walk right around the fencing, but just something to be aware of when you’re going out there

I saw this on Facebook yesterday. There is literally something for everyone in and around Charlotte

just opened up in Matthews, NC for billiard lovers

Weekend trips from Charlotte, NC ✈️

I made one recently to Florida.

Flying out of the Concord Airport on Allegiant was a great experience. Flights were on time, TSA was quick, the planes were very clean and the staff very friendly.

Plus, it’s way cheaper than flying out of Charlotte!

Below are the locations Allegiant flies to. I expect them to add routes as they continue to grow. Check Avelo airlines which also flies out of Concord.
