We extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and classmates of the Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) student who recently passed away. Our thoughts are also with the entire MTSU community and our partners at the HBCU Community Development Action Coalition (CDAC) as they grieve this profound loss. This tragedy is especially close to our hearts at Flourish Foundation Project Inc. and FICE-Apps, Inc. (DDAAT-App!), as one of our board members has a child attending MTSU, a valued MOU partner within the HBCU CDAC network.

This devastating event underscores the critical need for proactive and preventive mental health and su***de prevention programs in schools and communities. In 2023, more than 22,000 students on U.S. college campuses attempted su***de, with countless lives lost. At Flourish Foundation Project, we remain steadfast in our commitment to fostering safe, supportive environments where young people feel empowered to seek help and build resilience.
