The Black and White photo is what I stepped into in January of 1984. All teams used this small room down in the basement of Brooke-Kirk Gym. Roachel Laney CB the Assistant AD at the time was instrumental in blowing out a wall to put my office in. We won 2 Southern Conference championships in football and many many other conference championships from other teams in that room. In 1989 Owen’s Field House was redone and a new weight room was added. Owen’s Field House was torn down a few years ago and now what a tremendous facility!
Now you see what ASU has today and has a great strength coach to lead the way, Matt Greenhalgh.

Went to visit last night my good friend and his great family, 285 pound offensive lineman for the Lenoir Rhyne Bears Luke Stone.
They demolished Carson- Newman 34-13. A shout-out to strength coach Trent Caldwell for LR. Very impressed by his teams Strength, Explosiveness and overall team speed! Excellent job!
