Lord,

I confess that I have trusted myself more than I have trusted You. Today, I surrender my plans, my fears, my need for control, and my own understanding. Like Peter, I hear your voice calling me into deeper waters.

Though I cannot see what lies ahead, my answer is simple: BECAUSE YOU SAY SO, I will trust You.

Lead me where You want me to go. Shape me into the disciple You are calling me to become. In Your name, I pray.

Amen.
