Hi! Carla here 👋🏾 sharing my favorite 2025 moment! ✨

Our team had the joy of producing the Grand Opening of The River District for our longtime client partners at Crescent Communities, and for me, it was a true full-circle moment.

Ten years ago, I was producing another Crescent Communities grand opening for the Masons Bend community while navigating life as a brand-new mom. Fast forward to this fall 🍂, and our team was once again entrusted with bringing a major milestone to life this time for The River District, a 1,200-acre master-planned community along the Catawba River 🌿.

Only now, I have two daughters… and apparently, two tiny event enthusiasts 🎉. When I stepped out at 6:30 a.m. ⏰ for load-in, they were already dressed, shoes on, ready to go without us ever discussing it. They later joined the fun and fully leaned into the experience, painting pet rocks, riding in the pedicab, playing on the new playground 🛝, grabbing hot dogs 🌭 from JJ’s Red Hots, and loading up on farmers market finds 🍎🥕.

Watching my girls experience the kind of event joy 💛 I’ve spent years creating for the same client who’s been part of my professional journey from the beginning was incredibly meaningful.
