Temps (and humidity) crank up again mid-week!

We came, we boarded, we conquered!

26 miles of standup paddleboarding in 97 degree heat. Into the wind. Choppy water. For about 13 hours on Friday, about 30 people participated in the annual Dam to Dam event for 24 Foundation.

It was a struggle at times, but it was at precisely those moments when I thought of the reason we were out there— for my dad and other family and friends who have or are currently going through cancer treatments.

The focus of 24 Foundation is to raise funds for cancer navigation and survivorship programs, helping patients and families navigate treatment and improve quality of life after diagnosis. Thank you to everyone who donated to this important cause!

And thankful for the many volunteers, relief boats and The Goat Boater, Lake Wylie Paddleboarding, who supported us on the water! 😅 🏄‍♀️ 💦
