After several years of successful cooperation with the Technology, Entrepreneurship & Advanced Manufacturing Department at Olympic High School we are excited to announce that ClickFold Plastics has now become an official education and training provider within the ApprenticeshipNC program. The mission of ApprenticeshipNC is to ensure North Carolina has an innovative, relevant, effective, and efficient workforce development system that develops adaptable, work ready, skilled talent to meet the current and future needs of workers and businesses to achieve and sustain economic prosperity.

At ClickFold Plastics we know first hand how important skilled and motivated team members are to our success and we are pleased that we can now offer students who are interested in a career in manufacturing a formal and state-recognized training program. It is with great pride that we welcome Jose Lara Gomes as our first ApprenticeshipNC candidate and team member. # #

The Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation is dedicated to preserving the memory and legacy of the greatest humanitarian/aviation event in history. Their Mission is to preserve this memory by maintaining several aircraft used in the great event and creating "Flying Memorials and Classrooms" with the purpose of educating the public about this pivotal, yet forgotten, event in world history. For the upcoming 70th anniversary celebrations ClickFold Plastics was chosen to produce these acrylic awards to honor the more than 120 remaining pilots. Serial # 1 was dedicated the the famous "Candy Bomber" Colonel Gail Halvorsen.

NASA 's New Kitty Litter Box

NASA has just allowed pets to be kept on the International Space Station and awarded the contract to develop a suitable cat litter box to a ClickFold customer: OutofSightLitterBox.com. After careful research the engineers at OutofSightLitterbox concluded that only an aviation grade flame retardant polymer would satisfy NASA's rigorous specifications. They contacted ClickFold for a design consultation and a first prototype made from high-grade PC-ABS is undergoing feline testing at this time. OutofSightLitterBox and ClickFold Plastics are excited to see their product being launched into space via a Russian Sojuz spacecraft scheduled to deliver the first cat to the International Space Station in the fall of 2014.

Paul I. Pettys, CEO of Out of Sight Litter Box, Inc. does not recall this much excitement about his product since he sent a Presidential Litter Box to the White House during the Clinton administration - remember Boots the cat?!
