Hue Events
First of all… I have crazy ideas. The kind that make you stare at a mood board for 20 minutes and say, “Okay wait… but what if we actually did this?”
And honestly? That’s why I love working with creatives like Everything Pretty Collective. Bringing ideas to Kristin is easy because we both love being challenged creatively. We push design, trust the vision, and care deeply about the experience behind it all.
She’s never just showing up to “do florals.” She’s showing up to create, problem solve, hype up the couple, adjust the details, and make sure the wedding day feels just as good as it looks.
That kind of collaboration changes everything.
May 2nd will forever live rent free in my head.
Working alongside an incredible vendor team to bring this wedding to life was something special. The entire design was inspired by the Grand Bohemian Hotel Charlotte itself — specifically the rich Argentinian influence and those iconic blown glass chandeliers that instantly pull you in the moment you enter the space. We wanted the room to feel layered, bold, sophisticated, and completely alive with color.
The sculptural florals reflected the sophistication of the couple, while the color story reflected both their personalities and the warmth of their families. The foundation of the design was strategic color blocking — intentional, structured, and honestly very fitting for my favorite type-A bride. Every table had order, balance, and movement while still feeling artistic and elevated.
And yes… there were moments where the bride thought I was absolutely crazy for wanting to introduce more hues. But the additional tones were necessary. As light hit the chandeliers throughout the evening, different undertones began to reveal themselves, and the layered palette allowed the entire room to evolve with the space. Shades of purple, deeper blues, pinks, chartreuse, and even the golden velvet couches all played a role in creating dimension and richness.
To ground everything, the stationery remained true to our core palette: chartreuse, blue, and merlot. Every detail had intention. Every hue had purpose.
This design reminded me why I love color so much. When done correctly, it tells a story before anyone even sits down.
Massive congrats to the beautiful couple Ashich and Kesiya!

Before the guests arrive the entire celebration is already in motion.
Vendors are unloading.
Tables are being placed.
Florals are arriving.
Lighting is being tested.
Music is being queued.
The window of time before the ceremony is where a wedding planner becomes the conductor of the entire day. Every timeline detail, vendor arrival and design element is orchestrated so that when guests step onto the property everything feels effortless.
…and honestly the most seamless weddings are the ones where the couple never sees the logistics behind the scenes. They simply walk into the most beautiful day of their lives.
