Anyone started having quarantine dreams yet??👋🏼 Had one last night in which it was pre-coronavirus time & my neighborhood was having a huge party & everyone was walking around visiting each other & our kids were all together hanging out while the adults laughed & sipped cocktails. Then this huge liger showed up (in real life we just finished the Tiger King series for the 2nd time🐯) & at first we were all like “Wow, that’s an amazing animal! I can’t believe there’s a liger walking down the street!” But then it started chasing us & everyone was running around trying to hide & my husband & I were crouched behind our neighbors’ bushes, trying to decide the best way to get to our kids so we could all be back home where we knew it would be safe.😳 In other news, the gradient colors in whatever type of pollen this is are completely mesmerizing. Or maybe is starting to get to me.😅

We spent about two hours the other morning creating a Song Lyric Scavenger Hunt in our neighborhood. We used sidewalk chalk & drew large music notes all along the streets to help neighbors find the lyric. Then we wrote encouraging lyrics from fun, familiar songs & made them big & colorful at various intersections in our neighborhood. It took up a lot of sidewalk chalk, but it was so worth it! One of my favorites was drawing out “Every little thing’s gonna be alright” with three blue birds dancing around the words.😍 If you decide to do it, be sure to check the weather forecast first & do it when you know you won’t have rain for a few days - we woke up the next morning to wet roads & no chalk art.🤦🏻‍♀️ Still, totally worth it. @ Charlotte, North Carolina
