With a $150,000 PNC Foundation Grow Up Great grant and $15,000 from Smart Start of Mecklenburg County, TLC enhanced and expanded the playground to include a bike path and creative outdoor classroom featuring centers for gardening, sand play, building blocks, music, dramatic play and more! The Nature Explore design team used our existing gross motor play equipment and created a creative space that the children call, “the park”!
