✨ Last, but certainly not least, our final Volunteer Shoutout goes to the HAWK DADS, led by Ben Pryor and Turner Harris! The Hawk Dads showed up a lot this year to help out our school and provide some extra fun for our kids! Thank you for being a part of our school and for all of your support throughout the year!

✨This year’s Martha Bookout Scholarship has been awarded to Megan Lai! ✨

Megan is a proud alumnus of Hawk Ridge Elementary, currently a student at Ardrey Kell High School, and is committed to attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall.

Megan has a passion for helping others with a focus on Public Policy. As a student at Chapel Hill and beyond she hopes to understand the way society is structured targeting specifically social policy and inequality. She wants to be in a position where she can make a difference and raise the standard of living for everyone so they are equipped to reach their full potential.

This scholarship honors the spirit of Martha Bookout, and Megan’s leadership and service make her a truly deserving recipient. Congratulations, Megan!! 💛🖤

✨ Day 7 of our Volunteer Shoutouts goes to Linda Stubbs and Lynette Kloufetos and our fundraising committee! It goes without saying that fundraising is a necessary component of the PTA in order for us to do what we do! THANK YOU to the ones who go above and beyond to help find sponsors and donations for the PTA. We literally could not do it without you!
