The individual in this role must have experience in operating in the field of electrical service and the ability to support residential, industrial, and commercial projects.

Must be able to perform the duties with minimal supervision. Electrical
Technicians are also responsible for working collaboratively and assisting the mechanical team with change out of
equipment as needed and with installs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Knowledge of the NEC Electrical Codes
• Install equipment in accordance to the NEC Electrical Code
• Perform installation of all types of conduits, including conduit banks
• Bend and thread various types of conduit including EMT, rigid and OCAL pipe
• Repair, install, and maintain electrical systems that include motors, transformers,
internal/exterior conduit,
generators, switchboards, and power circuits
• Interpret and understand blueprints, control drawings, schematics, and systems
• Assists other team members with job duties as necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck

Qualifications

• Experience with wiring diagrams/low voltage
• Ability to select proper size wire and conduit for wiring equipment along with
supports/hangers
• Perform a wide range of duties, which can change according to their work setting
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Must hold valid state driver's license (out of state valid DL is acceptable)
• Must be punctual and adhere to daily schedules with multiple appointments and in
different job locations
• Must have own hand tools
