We said goodbye to my beautiful grandmother, Mary Lopez 💔, March 6, 1935- June 3, 2024
1. Showing baby me how the tortillas are made at her Molino, which she owned and operated for 23 years in San Antonio, TX.
2. This drawing someone did of her. When I was little, I just thought it was the coolest!
3. She got her high school diploma in her 60s because she had to drop out of school in 8th grade to be a migrant farm worker to help support her family. She was the oldest daughter of 16 🥴
4. The four-generation pic! I'm so glad Mabel got to meet her.
5-6. 2017 at Ray's Drive-In when Grandpa and Grandma were still with us. This is where they had their first date!
7. Grandma, my cousin Tina, and I share the same birthday !!! I always loved that!
8-9. Pictures I drew from 2000 that my grandma kept in her bible 🥹
