Another fun cover for . I think this is my third year working on the BoB Awards issue and it’s always a whirlwind to bring it all together. Thanks as always to for her vision and endless work on the ex*****on. And , you killed it!! Not only does she create some stunning jewelry but she was so fun to work with and up for anything we threw at her. Check out the issue for all the good stuff in and around Charlotte.

I photographed artist for the July/August issue of . Capturing artists and creators is always a favorite of mine. Kenny works in a 94-year-old former textile mill in Concord, NC. His colorful paintings use silk as their basis and his process is mesmerizing with a beautiful end result.

We spent the morning shooting in wonderful light streaming in from his tall studio windows capturing a mix of portraits and process.
