Morning Guided Meditation • Hetsuriho (Purifying the Spirit)
15-Minute Focus & Energy Alignment Ritual
Theme: Reconnect • Purify • Focus • Expand
Before Beginning
If available, place a few drops of sweet orange essential oil into your palms and gently rub your hands together.
Cup your hands over your nose and inhale softly several times.
Allow the scent to become a signal to your nervous system and body that this is sacred time.
Safety Note:
Avoid essential oils during pregnancy unless approved by your healthcare provider or guided by a qualified aromatherapist.
Now settle into a comfortable seated or reclined position.
Allow your palms to rest upward.
Close your eyes.
Take a slow inhale.
And release.
Again.
Breathing in…
And breathing out.
Today is not about becoming.
Today is about returning.
Returning to your center.
Returning to your breath.
Returning to yourself.
PART ONE — Dry Bathing (Kenyoku / Energetic Clearing)
Begin with Dry Bathing.
Imagine gently brushing away stagnant energy from your energetic field.
Visualize old thoughts leaving.
Visualize stress softening.
Visualize yesterday releasing.
See yourself becoming lighter.
Cleaner.
More present.
With every breath, imagine fresh life moving through your body.
Take several quiet breaths here.
(Pause)
PART TWO — Heart Center Connection
Bring awareness to your heart.
Imagine drawing Reiki gently into your heart center.
No force.
No striving.
Only receiving.
Place your hands in Gassho position in front of your heart.
Palms pressed lightly together.
Begin breathing as though your inhale enters through your hands.
Visualize the energy moving through your palms.
Into your heart.
With each inhale—
clarity.
With each exhale—
release.
Continue breathing.
Deeper.
Softer.
Calmer.
(Pause 5 minutes)
Repeat quietly:
I am connected.
I am centered.
I am clear.
I welcome focus.
I move through this day with intention.
PART THREE — Expanding Through Your Being
Now with every exhale—
allow the energy gathered in your heart to move outward.
Into your chest.
Into your arms.
Into your stomach.
Into your hips.
Into your legs.
Into every cell.
See your entire being illuminated.
You are not filling emptiness.
You are remembering wholeness.
(Pause)
PART FOUR — Expanding Into Your Aura
Now allow your awareness to move beyond your physical body.
Visualize energy surrounding you.
Gentle.
Radiant.
Steady.
Send gratitude into your energetic field.
Offer yourself compassion.
Offer yourself permission to move through today with softness and focus.
(Pause)
PART FIVE — Expanding Into the World
Allow the energy to continue outward.
Into your room.
Into your home.
Into your community.
Into nature.
Into every living being.
Then farther—
into the earth.
Into the sky.
Into the stars.
Into the entire universe.
You are both individual and connected.
Both grounded and infinite.
Sit here in stillness.
(Pause 2–3 minutes)
Closing
Bring your hands back into Gassho.
Take one final breath.
Silently offer gratitude.
Thank yourself.
Thank your practice.
Thank the energy of connection.
When you are ready—
open your eyes.
Carry your focus forward.
Move slowly.
Move intentionally.
And allow this feeling to guide the rest of your day.
