When a young person is in a mental health or substance use crisis, families are often left asking the same urgent question: where do we go for help? 💔

Often, the emergency room (ER) is the first thought. But for someone experiencing a behavioral health crisis, ERs often mean overwhelming environments, longer wait times and limited access to specialized care. Our Facility-Based Crisis (FBC) Center is built specifically to support, stabilize and guide individuals through these moments with care designed around their needs.

Monarch currently has an FBC in Lumberton, NC and will soon be staffing a Youth FBC at the Stephen M. Morris Behavioral Health Center in Concord, NC later this year. Learn more at https://ow.ly/IhC750Z5kQI.💚

On Memorial Day, we pause to remember the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice and to recognize the families, friends and communities who carry their memory forward.

In observance, Monarch offices and outpatient clinics will be closed on Monday, May 25. We will reopen during regular business hours on Tuesday, May 26.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text 988 for immediate support.

Mental health treatment is deeply personal and truly unique to each individual. Treatment can take the form of outpatient therapy, crisis services, community support, medication or a combination of multiple interventions. ❤️‍🩹

For Bridget Rogers, the right form of mental health treatment turned out to be Medication Management services. After years of trying to manage depression and PTSD with little success finding the right support, she found a form of treatment that finally felt worth continuing. Now, she feels well enough to live her life, taking trips to the beach and spending time with family.

This , we encourage anyone who has felt discouraged after seeking mental health treatment to keep going. Like Bridget, you will find the right treatment for you.

Monarch was proud to take part in NAMIWalks with NAMI Cabarrus – Rowan – Stanly on Saturday, May 16.

As a Presenting Sponsor, Team Monarch joined community members, families and advocates to raise awareness during Mental Health Awareness Month, reduce stigma and connect people with resources.

We also shared information about the Stephen M. Morris Behavioral Health Center, opening soon in Concord, which will expand access to behavioral health crisis services for youth, adults and families.

Thank you to our Monarch team members who came out to walk, connect and represent our mission!
