GTC 57 - Penny Doubling

"More" became the goal but "enough" was never defined.

Many successful corporate families in their mid-40s have hit the milestones:

• Comfortable income
• Substantial retirement savings
• A nice home
• Family vacations, private schools, maybe even a second home

On the outside they're thriving, but internally they're still stressed.

"Why don't we feel financially comfortable yet?"

(If you could use the help of a financial advisor or would like to explore making a change from your current advisor, now's the time, please shoot me a message—I'm happy to talk)

Contrarian Opinion

Age 45-55 is a sweet spot for funding long-term care.

Having a plan to fund the potential cost of future care is an important question every family should answer.

"How much life insurance do I NEED?"

There are many different ways to calculate life insurance needs.

One of the simplest and most straightforward ways is to take the number you need to be financially independent today and subtract your current liquid net worth.

The gap is the net insurable need.

It's not perfect, but a good starting point.
