BREAKING NEWS: NASCAR has announced Kyle Busch has died at the age of 41.

The Busch family announced earlier today he would not be driving in the Coca-Cola 600 this weekend because he was hospitalized with "severe illness".

In a statement, NASCAR writes: "“Our entire NASCAR family is heartbroken by the loss of Kyle Busch. A future Hall of Famer, Kyle was a rare talent, one who comes along once in a generation."

UPDATE: His name is Merle and he has been reunited with his owner! Thanks everyone for sharing.

Found this dog wandering the streets last night in the Madison Park neighborhood (south Charlotte). He’s a sweet boy. Black lab, about 50 pounds. He has a collar but no information or tag. If anyone knows the owner, please share.
