Over the next few posts, you’ll get an inside look at the transformation of this one-story condo into a two-story luxury residence. Let’s break it down.

This renovation was massive - which also makes the before and after photos a bit harder to fully appreciate at first glance. Originally, this space featured a simple kitchen with a large soffit that concealed the home’s ductwork and mechanical systems. To completely reimagine the layout, we removed the entire kitchen and soffit, opening the space all the way up and creating a second level above.

The result is a stunning library overlooking the main living area, complete with a balcony that connects the two floors and enhances the open-concept design.

Behind the scenes, this transformation required extensive planning and coordination. Existing ductwork and mechanical equipment had to be relocated to make way for the new structure and maximize every inch of space. What was once a standard one-story condo is now a one-of-a-kind luxury home designed for both function and architectural impact.

Introducing our third office: Andrew Roby Blue Ridge, located in the heart of Brevard, NC. We’re proud to serve the mountain communities of Asheville, Greenville, Cashiers, and beyond with the same commitment to craftsmanship and client experience that has defined Andrew Roby for 75 years.

While we’ve been building and renovating homes in the region since 2022, today marked the official grand opening of our Blue Ridge office. We’re honored to become a deeper part of this incredible community and look forward to bringing our expertise, passion, and dedication to homeowners throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains.
