Originally, I planned a solo self-portrait session for my birthday…
and it turned into something even more special.

I invited:
• for creative direction and she jumped behind the camera too
• for styling
• for the gold accents

And let me say — they ate.

This shoot reminded me why I do what I do — and why I’m not slowing down.

This Black History Month, I’m creating a photo series that celebrates the beauty, creativity, and resilience of Black culture. From fashion and hair to music, joy, and history, this project will showcase the richness of our heritage.

I’m looking for models of all backgrounds, ages, and styles to be part of this visual celebration! No experience is needed—just a love for the culture and a willingness to be in front of the camera.
