Angelo The Kid

A little story about this release… a couple weeks ago when Favour by & came out, I was at a wedding weekend and we were all listening to new music. As soon as I heard the track, I loved the vocal and felt like it could be turned into a remix.

We had about 20 minutes before we had to leave the house, so I said f**k it and did a sprint on the remix (for those who don’t know, a sprint is basically a time-restricted session where you just get an idea down). I ended up finishing the first drop in about 15 minutes if you want to hear it, I left it in the last slide. I put it to the side and didn’t think much of it.

A week later hit me up to work on a Favour remix together, so I decided to come back to the project. I had the melody for the first drop, while his drops leaned more into those fun, melodic keys. We built the second drop around his vibe, kept the first drop how I had it, and ended up with this remix.
