~ the moment that Wells first saw himself in his Pout Pout fish costume was one of my favorites of the year 🥹 It was a very special first Halloween with our Pout Pout fish obsessed boy 🩵

~ happy moments from our first vacation as a family! It was the best 10 days…we had great weather, my parents joined for a weekend, and it was so special to introduce Wells to a place that holds such meaning for us! HHI is so down to earth and so relaxed - it was the perfect spot for our first big trip with a baby!

Thank you all SO much for your baby beach recommendations! I honestly had envisioned beach days with him being much more difficult than they really are. Being on the beach with a (*sometimes unpredictable) baby was way easier than taking him to a busy restaurant or any other outing. Once we set up for the day, we were set. I could feed him there, he could play there, he could nap there, and in that sense….it felt easy. If he cried, we were outside and I felt less stressed about it than I would in any other public spot indoors. The sound of the waves and the breeze helped him nap in his stroller like a champ! I just wanted to share this for any other new moms heading into the summer feeling overwhelmed at just the thought of schlepping baby gear to the beach. It’s so much better than I thought (and if you’re a new mom too, you got this!)!
