At first it’s just there… distant, passing through the darkness.

Then somehow it becomes part of your routine. Something you check for without thinking. Something that quietly matters.

You start noticing the subtle things.
The phases.
The disappearances.
The way even partial light still changes the entire landscape around it.

And maybe that’s the strange part about certain connections…
some can feel closer than they should long before they’re ever within reach.

So you wait.
Not because you have to.
Because some things are rare enough to deserve patience.

The storm passed a while ago.
The hard part was convincing my mind it had.
Funny how survival can teach you to expect chaos in every dark cloud…
