As it turns out, we didnât take a lot of pictures on vacation because we were hardly on our phones! As it should be!
đ 4 days of sunshine, a warm breeze, good books, and good company đĽ°
đŤ no emails, no work, no tv, no social media
âď¸â
feeling rested & recharged
⌠although I wouldnât mind a few more weeks of vacation đ¤Ł
Whether or not I go to the beach, I plan a full week every quarter for no social media and reduced tech time. Itâs such a great reset!
đšCheers & I hope you have a vacation - and tech detox - planned soon!
Sending love, light, and good vibes your way!

I still remember the first time my Therapist-Coach said this to me almost 15 years ago⌠it stopped me in my tracks.
I was should-ing on myself a lot those days.
Then I decided to remove âshouldâ from my vocabulary⌠I didnât say that word for over 4 years!!!
Doing this made me:
(1) think more intentionally about the words I was choosing and
(2) stop putting unnecessary pressure on myself.
Take a minute and reflect: how many times this week have you said âI should...â?
âShouldâ often carries the heavy weight of judgment, guilt, and unrealistic expectations.
If you want to take a leap forward in your personal growth journey, start considering the words you use when youâre talking, how you describe yourself, etc.
Instead of: âI should be more productiveâ Try: âI am prioritizing what matters most.â
Instead of: âI should have done betterâ Try: âI did the best I could at the time with the information and tools I had.â
We only have so many hours in the day and we arenât robots, we canât accomplish 100 tasks in a day. Give yourself some grace.
And if you are slipping, hold yourself accountable by re-defining your overall personal & professional priorities. Then each day, decide what 2-3 are most important and prioritize those.
