Yesterday, I achieved a long overdue, lifelong goal: I finally graduated college! 🎓

Returning to school later in life was a much different experience for me than when I went directly after high school. I had a much deeper appreciation of the work, and I fully committed to the process. However, I encountered many obstacles that didn’t exist for me in my late teens and 20’s. Earning a degree while owning a successful real estate business, managing a household, and maintaining relationships with friends and family really stretched me thin at times. Also, learning a new language is difficult in your 40s! 😂 Despite the challenges, I’m proud to say that I have graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA from with a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Certificates in Business Spanish and Translation!!

I could not have done this without the love and support of all my friends and family. I’m especially grateful to my best friend and sister who is graduating TOP of her class from nursing school this month!!! It has been so nice to have someone who really gets it, and it is SO perfect that we have graduated alongside one another!!

Above all, thank you so much to the love of my life, !! Thank you for the Spanish study sessions disguised as date nights, for picking up the slack around the house, for being my personal cheerleader and therapist… I truly could not have done this without your support. 🥹❤️
