Why I created the Beginners Brazilian 👇

When I started working at a wax spa, I noticed that lots of clients were coming in anxious, nervous and had questions about the service. As much as I wanted to give them the reassurance and answers they wanted, there’s only so much I can do in 15 times. So one of the first things I created when I went solo was The Beginners Brazilian!

This service is 30 mins long (while the wax portion will take likely less than 10 mins) & comes with the expertise of a seasoned Esthetician & the understanding touch of a girl who was a first timer at one point ❤️

Oh this service also comes with FREE exfoliating products! Can’t forget that!

ATTENTION! These things are making your hyperpigmentation WORST!

1) You need sunscreen. Everyday. Even if it’s cloudy. Even in the winter and ESPECIALLY in the summer. Also, take a minute to read the bottle of your SPF. You’re supposed to be reapplying it throughout the day. The frequency at which you reapply depends on the level of SPF. So applying it once a day isn’t doing much, SORRY!

2) So there are a few reasons why you shouldn’t wear your night cream/acne products in the day time. Let’s talk INGREDIENTS. Night creams and acne products often times contain ingredients that increase photosensitivity (meaning your skin is more likely to burn). Ingredients such as retinol, lactic acid and other active ingredients should be used at night before bed to prevent burning your skin. Hyperpigmentation is so much harder to treat once the sun attacks it! If your dermatologist recommends you to use an acne product during the day, you NEED NEEED to be reapplying sunscreen.

3) Picking your face or extracting your own blemishes is a NO NO. Esthetician’s are trained to extract blemishes without causing injury to the skin. Leave it to us.
